Love Came Down
Hello Church,
I am really excited about this new installment of “The Green Room”! The song I have chosen for this round is called “Love Came Down” by Brian and Jenn Johnson. It is an amazingly poignant description of the awesome and incredible love of our lord Jesus and what it took for Him to give it. It really cost Him everything but He didn’t let that keep Him from coming for you and me. The simple fact of the matter is, if we truly stopped to take it all in, we would instantly be overwhelmed by the depth of that sacrifice and how unworthy we all are to even think about receiving such a gift. Yet that promise holds through every high and low and in between moment of our lives.
I remind myself of all that you’ve done, and the life I have because of Your Son……..Love came down and rescued me, Love came down and set me free, I am yours, I am forever yours.

In the midst of everything that we experience in life, we need to constantly remind ourselves that His love is always there, waiting to be reached out for and taken as the gift it is intended to be. Once you have encountered that kind of love, there is no turning back because you will not be the same ever again. The hunger for that connection will grow until it becomes the most desperate need of your life. In the upcoming holiday season, remember to pause in the midst of the chaos and give thanks to God for all He has made possible for us through Jesus and his incredible sacrifice.
