  Our Senior Pastor – Pastor Jeff JohnsonWife: Christy Johnson Hi, and thank you for your interest in God’s work here at Calvary Hills. My name is Jeff Johnson and God has allowed me to begin this work through His grace and strength. I married my wife Christy in December of 1986. We began a family with the desire of living the American dream, however after years of self indulgence and worldly living, I felt empty and unfulfilled. My journey with the Lord would begin in 1988. Looking for answers my wife and I decided to go to church. As I sat in church and observed the worship of God and the teaching of His Word, I was captivated. I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and take my life and do whatever He wanted with it. Wow! Some 17 years later the opportunity to share His Word with others is more than I could have ever asked or thought. I have been given the blessing of working with Jr. High students for 5 years and being a high school Youth Pastor for 5 years. I then served as a Missions Pastor for 2 years ministering in Mexico, Africa, Indonesia, along with other local areas. Starting in September of 2004 God has given me the privilege of leading a group of believers at Calvary Hills Christian Church. We continue learning, growing, and serving together.  Our Worship Pastor – Pastor Mike McCasseyWife: Kristy McCassey I am the Worship Pastor here at Calvary Hills Christian Church. I am extremely excited to be a part of this ministry and to be able to watch what God is doing in our church in the area of worship. I believe that worship is an amazingly powerful and integral part of our individual lives and is also something we get to do together on Sunday morning. I believe that it covers far more than music and is evidence of a daily, vibrant relationship with Jesus. I believe in creating an environment where true worship is cultivated and encouraged and people can worship Jesus in spirit and truth. I believe that environment should also be appropriate and not distracting as is outlined in scripture. Finally, I believe that God is revealing Himself to us more and more as we grow closer to one another and Him through this wonderful expression of love called worship. I am also excited to have my beautiful wife Kristy at my side as my partner in life and in music. Together with our four beautiful children Kylie, Liam, Sean and Audrey, we are looking forward to seeing what God will accomplish in and through us as we join in the work that God is doing here at Calvary Hills. It is our sincere hope that when you join us here in worship, that you would not only experience the love and acceptance of your Christian family, but that you will feel the loving embrace of Jesus as we lift His name together. – Mike |
 Our Technical Director – “Frankster” Frank SandovalWife: Sylvia Sandoval Hi, My name is Frank but my friends call me “Frankster”. I am always up for a challenge. Working in the church definitely increases ones reliance in God and teaches perseverance. I am blessed with an extremely patient wife and 2 exceptionally smart boys. This is proof God blesses regardless of whether we deserve it or not. I have a background in live sound reinforcement and did spend quite a few of my younger years playing guitar and touring. I love playing my guitar and I always enjoy working with live sound. I believe that when God reveals himself through music, one of the tangible ways to experience this is literally through the physical impact of music to our ears and to our person. Ps 33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. (KJV) I also have the “fixit” bug. If it is broken, I can’t walk by without attending to it. You’ll see me from time to time with a paint roller in one hand and a computer hard drive in the other. God has blessed me through service to him.  Our Children’s Director – Ben BradshawWife: Kristen Bradshaw I am the Children’s Ministry Director here at Calvary Hills Church. It’s been such an awesome experience with our kids and we are privileged to get to know the parents. Kristen and I feel truly blessed that the Lord has called us to minister to our young ones. We want to help build a solid foundation for lasting relationship’s with our Lord and Savior.
Kristen and I made Calvary Hills Church our home in 2008 after doing the “Church Tour” throughout the valley. We truly felt God was pulling us to Calvary Hills to be a part of what he was doing in this Church and the Children’s Ministry. We are excited! The name of the Children’s Ministry is “GLOW” which stands for; God Lights Our Way. Psalm 119:105 We think this is fitting not only for our children but for all ministries. I am blessed to also have my wife Kristen serving along side me in the as the Nursery Coordinator. God has blessed us with three amazing Children Delaney, Lily, and Grayson. We look forward to growing in service for the Lord with each of you. –Ben |
